Ethical Investment Funds Management Pty Ltd are passionate about offering ethical investment choices to all investors. By integrating the social, environmental and financial aspects of an investment, we believe that a more sustainable investment return is possible.

Our Background

Ethical Investment Funds Management is a corporate authorised representative of Ethical Investment Advisers Pty Ltd. In 2004, financial planners Louise Edkins and Terry Pinnell, who were among the pioneers of ethical investment advice during the 1990s, established Ethical Investment Advisers so they could offer specialist advice on ethical investing.

Ethical Investment Funds Management are dedicated to investing money ethically, whilst still receiving a solid return.

We are also mindful that the financial planning community need affordable and ethical investment product offerings for their clients. Our vision is to help all investors incorporate their values with their investment objectives. By integrating the social, environmental and financial aspects of an investment, we believe that a more sustainable investment return is possible.

We are pleased to announce that we received a ‘Highly Commended’ award at the Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2022 in the category of Australian Equities SMAs, for the Ethical Investment Australian Equities Portfolio. The rating was based on three-year performance data relative to other fund managers and was centred on risk-adjusted outperformance in both rising and falling markets, and consistently beating the benchmark.

Ethical Investment Funds Management have also been nominated as a Responsible Investment Leader by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia in both 2021 and 2022, and a Responsible Investor in 2023. This demonstrates our commitment to responsible investing; the explicit consideration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in investment decision making, strong and collaborative stewardship; and transparency in reporting activity, including the societal and environmental outcomes being achieved.

Offsetting carbon from our cars, airfares and office heating/cooling with Greenfleet. We received the ‘Huon Award’ for the continuous support of carbon offsetting through Greenfleet. Where possible we use solar hot water, solar panels, low energy lights and insulation to reduce our energy consumption and buy green power.

Environmental Impact
We aim to lower our environmental impact by using recycled envelopes and paper, use scrap paper for internal printing, double-sided printing for report printing and use E-mail as much as possible internally and in communication with our clients. Some offices provide showers and changing rooms for staff across our network to promote riding or walking to work to reduce our carbon footprint.

Recycling
We recycle all of our waste paper, plastics and metals and recycle food waste as compost.

Water Saving
Where possible we use water tanks and low water use toilets and showers to reduce our water usage. We also recycle grey water and use mulching to reduce water loss in our gardens.
