Terry Pinnell
Portfolio Manager & Head of Stewardship
Terry has been an ethical investment specialist since 1993 and a charter member of Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA).
Terry has been a Certified Financial Planner from 1989 to 2021, has decades of experience in investment selection and portfolio management, and is currently the Chair of the Ethical Advisers’ Co-Operative. Terry was one of the pioneers of ethical investment during the 1990s.

Louise Edkins
Head of Investment Team & Head of Engagement
Louise is a Charter Member of Responsible Investment Association Australasia and has specialised in ethically-screened investments since 1994.
Louise is the head of the Investment Team in charge of providing research for the Ethical Investment portfolios. She is also leads engagement with fund managers and companies on environmental, social and governance issues.

Luke Price
Portfolio Manager & Head of Research
Luke holds a Bachelor of Business (Finance), a Diploma (Financial Planning), and has a strong background in investment research and portfolio construction since 2009.
Luke is the head of research, compliance and portfolio management. He is an Authorised Representative of Ethical Investment Advisers, and is currently on the board of the Ethical Advisers’ Co-Operative.

Mark Forstmann
Independent Investment Analyst
Mark has 27 years’ experience in investment markets including equities, currencies and fixed interest. He holds a B.Sc. from Sydney University.
Mark worked at BankAmerica in Sydney, Banque Indosuez in both Sydney and Paris. He was also a director at Hunter Hall International for 15 years.
Mark served on the Board of the Nature Conservation Trust of NSW between 2009 and 2015 and is currently an independent director of Morphic Asset Management.

David Bassanese
Independent Analyst – BetaShares Chief Economist
David is the Chief economist at BetaShares, responsible for developing economic insights and portfolio construction strategies.
Prior to BetaShares, David was an economic columnist for The Australian Financial Review for over a decade. He graduated with first class honors from the University of Adelaide, and a Master in Public Policy from the J.F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Tim Binsted
Chief Investment Consultant – InvestSense
Tim is a seasoned investment analyst and portfolio manager with over two decades of experience in the Australian financial markets. Prior to joining InvestSense, he held senior roles at Morningstar and other leading investment firms, where he specialised in equity research and fund analysis.
His deep understanding of market dynamics and commitment to responsible investing make him a perfect fit for our values and vision.

Karen McLeod
Investment Team Member
Karen is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Bachelor of Business and Diploma of Financial Services.
She currently sits on the board of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA). Karen has over a decade of specialised experience in ethical investing, portfolio management and investment research.

James Baird
Investment Team Member
James is passionate about investing ethically and helping clients achieve their goals through the financial planning advice process. He has been in the finance industry since 2000.
He has previously worked for CoreRatings, an Ethical Ratings agency which assessed material impacts of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues on a range of large companies.
His role incorporated dealing with fund managers across Europe, including ABN Amro, Deutsche Bank, & Barclays Global Investor.

Claude Walker
Independent Company Analyst
Claude is the founder of A Rich Life. He had the good fortune of starting young as an investor and was the Research Analyst and then Advisor of Motley Fool Hidden Gems from 2014 – 2018.
He has an open-minded approach to investing, but he always considers the impact his investments have on society and the environment, not just the expected financial return. Claude’s exceptional analytical skills help the EIFM committee identify and decide on companies that go largely unnoticed or ignored by the mainstream analysts.

Shenaaz Hoosein
Ethical Research
Shenaaz’s deep interest in the ethical investing space spanning over a decade underpins Shenaaz value creation and insights. Shenaaz is about disrupting archaic beliefs to drive positive long-term sustainable outcomes for our environment, economy, and society.
As EIFM’s ESG analyst, Shenaaz provides in-depth assessments and delivers expert insights into corporate practices, supporting strategic investment decisions on companies considered for investment. Her analysis ensures the ethical alignment of potential investments for EIFM’s clients.

Craig Parker
Business Development & Engagement
Craig has been in the financial services sector for over two decades and brings a broad depth of experience from financial planning to stock broking and other roles in the renewable energy sector. Craig is passionate about ecological economics and investing in a way that ensures a liveable future for generations to come.
At EIFM Craig provides business development support along with engagement and research roles around new technology, specifically in the decarbonisation sector.
